MAHELOU Blouse

MAHELOU, better known as the grandmother, is the mother of the whole tribe. She is the head of the family. The one that calls the shots armed with a lot of passion, love and dedication for her family and the entire village.

This blouse is made out of the Tahruyt fabric; a veil the women in the Atlas and South of Morocco use to cover themselves when leaving the house. It is a cotton cloth decorated with colorful patterns and symbols that tell the stories of the Amazigh women.
